If there was one magic sales approach, strategy or tip that lead to all the success you've dreamed about there would be one book written on sales. Everyone would own it, the author would be a multi-millionaire and we would all be making more money in sales than we knew what to do with.
It's not that simple!
Through my coach training I can see how the old model of the sales “process” has left tremendous gaps in our understanding of the sales conversation.
Sales is a series of conversations, nothing more, nothing less. Once we begin to understand all the elements that are present in an engaging and enrolling conversation, sales becomes so much simpler.
Have you noticed the effort it takes to think of the right question to uncover the pain, the effort it takes to make your value proposition understood, the effort it takes to communicate features and benefits, the effort it takes to handle objections, the effort it takes to close for the business?
Let all that go.
By learning about and practicing active listening techniques, intentional questions will present themselves. Effective requests will lead to commitment and action from your prospects producing breakthrough results.
